There are many people involved in organizing a successful official opening or what is commonly referred to as a Welcome Ceremony.
Planning for the Welcome Ceremony will start at least 2 months out from the final relocation to the new workplace.
An official opening of the new workplace may include an Acknowledgement to Country. An 'Acknowledgement to Country' can be done by everyone, Indigenous or non-Indigenous, to pay respect to the fact that one is on Aboriginal land. But get your wording right, and make sure that you have your Indigenous Relations Manager or someone as knowledgeable about to pay respects onboard.
In this course, you will gain an understanding of the roles and responsibilities of the facilitators of the Welcome Ceremony, including the behind the scenes actions and deliverables that other functional teams and key stakeholders will be doing to make this event a great success.

The Project Team will create a detailed list of all the packages or elements of work that must be completed in order to deliver the project.
This is called a Work Breakdown Structure. The work packages or elements can then be allocated to resource groups or progressed as planned procurements.
A Work Breakdown Structure cannot be developed in isolation. Creating the WBS is a team effort.
In this course, you will gain an understanding of the high level process for developing a project work breakdown structure and the steps that will be used later in the costing and time management processes to schedule or plan the tasks and to cost each element of the project to determine an overall project cost.

Before managing and analyzing you need to understand the organization, customer, team, and vision. The project or organization's vision must be clearly communicated to all resources in a consistent manner, and all resources should understand the vision and how the vision is intended to be delivered.
In this course, you will gain an understanding of what aspects of performance should be monitored, how to communicate with your teams to offer support and identify issues that affect performance.
