Students will gain an understanding of the role of the Lead Designer, what they are responsible for and when they should be engaged.
Students will gain an understanding of the data gathered from the site audit and ground validation, meetings, workshops, and research that will help direct the development of the design.
Students will gain an understanding of the process that determines if a site is capable of supporting the spaces and activities of an office. Topics covered include bounds and restrictions which the designers need to consider when formulating the design.
Storage consultants generally have experience across a number of workplace specialty areas. They can be Relocation Project Managers who have a great deal of experience in partnering with their clients to meet the needs of their individual business and the needs of teams and they can for that same reason be a Designer who has a great deal of experience in spatial planning.
In many large-scale workplace projects there may be one consultant doing your Workplace Strategy Storage Utilization and Storage Specification, Utilization Study and Relocation Planning. But it can also be true that all the different services above can be delivered by a number of different individuals.
In this course, you will gain an understanding of what is required of a Storage Consultant in setting up for the Audit through to the fundamentals that will make it into the Report.

Students will gain an understanding of how Site analysis is done in the discovery phase, and before proceeding with the schemes and layout.
Students will gain an understanding from the viewpoint and experience of a designer, consultant, contractor, project and construction manager and what they I take note of in terms features and characteristics of a site.
