ABOUT THIS COURSE
A Project Charter is a document formed on the organizational level and contains information such as governance of the project, funding of the project and the project scope that is imagined by the organization.
A Project Charter formally authorizes the existence of the project and provides the Project Manager with the authority to apply resources to project activities.
The Project Charter is one of the first control documents that the Project Manager (or Project Sponsor) will develop and seek approval of at the start of the project. The scope and applicability of a Project Charter applies to all Projects.
In this course, you will gain an understanding of how effective the Project Charter is in communicating the business importance and existence of the project, the benefits of the project and the project authorities.
