As the project manager you are asked to undertake good project management governance.
You will need to observe project management principles throughout the project and determine the right move for the organization, the right sequence of events, whilst observing good project governance.
In this course, you will gain an understanding of how to identify the key knowledge areas, processes and functions of project management.

Students will gain an understanding of how effective the Project Plan and Charter Summary is in communicating the business importance and existence of the project , the benefits of the project and the project authorities.
Students will gain an understanding of what the Project Manager is responsible for. The Project Plan and Charter formally authorises the project and the authority of the Project Manager to apply organisational resources where required.
While individual circumstances can be quite different between projects, for the majority of projects, once a project’s scope, budget, timeframe, and quality objectives have been defined in the way in which it will be physically delivered, it will most likely follow a fairly predictable and well understood path.
This means that the Project Director already knows the procurement processes that will be involved. Even the breakdown of different elements into different packages can be planned and prepared for in advance.
In this course, you will gain an understanding of how the procurement process for a fit out project will most likely be undertaken.
