Announcements inform the business of project activities, initiatives, achievements and risks. They give staff assurance of project intent, and how the project team are tracking against project deliverables.
The announcements come from different stakeholder groups and can have different purposes. Some of the purposes include advises of intent (Level 1 announcements), endorsement and assurance (Level 2 announcements), and the details of how and when (Level 3 announcements).
In this course, you will gain an understanding of the top four announcements you need to make to get your project off to the best start possible and who’s involved in making them.

A Pilot Space is typically set up in the project teams working space, prior to a Work Lab or Display Suite and demonstrates to the business that the project team are taking initiatives to work as everyone is expected to do in the new building.
Everyone in the Project Working Group will be involved in gearing up to create an Agile prototype space for the project team to trial and for the business to familiarize themselves with.
In this course, you will gain an understanding of the importance and function of a Pilot Space and how the project team pulls together to coordinate what's required and demonstrate the new behaviors.

An interactive Work Lab will be the first chance for most of the business to live and breathe the new workplace principles and technologies.
Staff will be encouraged to book in and trial the space, so all components of the Work Lab need to function as intended for the rotating groups to have the best experience possible.
Staff feedback on the new work settings will need to be collected and evaluated to understand how the change program is progressing and what elements of change need more attention.
In this course, you will gain an understanding of how a Work Lab is an interactive sample of the new work settings and how to get staff working in the new environment as part of the change program.

Relocation readiness activities may be initiated by the Relocation Committee or Project Working Group.
The term ‘relocation ready’ is used to identify when a business, business unit or individual is ready for relocation. The term ‘relocation readiness’ is used to describe tasks and activities that will assist in getting the business, business unit or individual ready for relocation.
In this course, you will gain an understanding of what is expected of the Change Manager and how they will share information and assist in distributing relocation messages to stakeholders in the business.

Research will cover many facets of the project namely design, flexible working, space optimization.
Having an approach for recording and responding to feedback that come to the project teams attention is also a vital initiative for project success and future lessons learned.
It is important that as much information on business functions and standard workplace space and technology requirements are known at this time.
In this course, you will gain an understanding of the key aspects that will influence an accommodation plan and that ‘Research’ will be undertaken across many if not all phases of the project.

There are many ways to engage staff about the new work settings.
The most engaging way is to setup a space in the office for a fully operational Work Lab or Display Suite with alternative options being a Workshop or Expo night to showcase the new way of working.
Whatever style choose, cost, time frames and level of engagement with staff need to be considered.
In this course, you will gain an understanding of the importance of Prototype spaces and selecting the right one for your staff.
